Canonical brand name, aliases, brand color, social handles.

    Brand configuration

Brand configuration tells GeoBubbles what your brand looks like in the wild so we can correctly identify mentions and citations in AI answers and SERP results.

You can edit these settings any time from Settings β†’ Sites β†’ [your site] β†’ Brand.

    Canonical brand name

The official, customer-facing name of your brand. It is used in:

    • Report titles and exported PDFs.
    • The dashboard header.
    • The default identifier in entity matching.

Keep it short and consistent with how your customers refer to you.

    Brand aliases

Aliases are alternative ways your brand might appear in LLM answers or SERP snippets. Add every variant that could plausibly show up:

    • Short forms β€” "IBM" for "International Business Machines".
    • Legal name β€” "Acme Inc.", "Acme GmbH".
    • Common typos β€” "Lovble" for "Lovable".
    • Local spellings β€” accented vs un-accented variants.
    • Old brand names β€” if you recently rebranded, include both.

Each alias is matched independently during entity detection. More aliases generally mean more accurate Visibility Score and Share of Voice numbers.

Aliases are matched case-insensitively with TLD stripping where relevant. They are not regex β€” they're literal strings.

    Brand color

Used as the brand's accent in:

    • Dashboard charts (the line that represents your brand).
    • The site favicon strip in the site switcher.
    • Exported reports.

Pick a color that contrasts well with competitor colors so trends are easy to read.

Upload a square logo (PNG or SVG, max 2MB). Displayed in the dashboard, site switcher and exported reports.

    Competitors

Competitors are managed in a separate section of the site settings, not in Brand. See Curate generated prompts and the Competitors panel inside the site detail view.

    When changes take effect

    • Brand name, aliases, color, logo β€” take effect immediately for new measurement cycles.
    • Already-collected LLM responses can be re-scored against new aliases, but this must be requested from the support team β€” it does not happen automatically. By default, only future measurement cycles use the new aliases.
