Create a site, pick the right primary domain, and set locale.

    Add a new site

A Site in GeoBubbles represents one brand or property you want to track. Each site is tied to a primary domain, a country/language locale, and its own set of prompts, competitors and cities.

    Open the new-site flow

You can start adding a site from several places:

    • From the site switcher (top-left of the app) β†’ + Add new site.
    • From Settings β†’ Sites β†’ Add site.
    • Automatically, the first time you log in after creating your account β€” the new-site dialog opens for you.

    Step 1 β€” Domain

Enter your primary domain (e.g. example.com).

    • Do not include https:// or a trailing slash β€” just the bare hostname.
    • Use the apex domain (e.g. example.com), not www.example.com. Both variants are matched automatically during entity matching.
    • Subdomains (e.g. shop.example.com) are handled like regular domains β€” add them as their own site if you want to track them separately.

    Step 2 β€” Country & language (locale)

Pick the primary country and language the site operates in. The locale drives:

    • The city catalog offered in later steps (diacritic-insensitive, restricted to the chosen country).
    • The language prompts are generated in.
    • The country code used for local SERP queries.
    • The country signal sent to AI providers when running visibility checks.

If your brand operates across multiple countries, create one site per country β€” this keeps metrics, competitors and SERP results clean.

    Step 3 β€” Brand details

    • Brand name β€” the canonical name of your brand as customers know it.
    • Brand aliases β€” alternative spellings, short forms, legal name, common typos (e.g. "IBM", "I.B.M.", "International Business Machines"). Aliases are used during entity matching in LLM answers.
    • Logo β€” optional, displayed in the dashboard and reports.

See Brand configuration for the full breakdown.

    Step 4 β€” Save & continue

Once you save, the site appears in the site switcher and you are taken to the onboarding wizard, which walks you through:

    1. Connecting Google Search Console (paid plans only).
    2. Defining competitors.
    3. Choosing target cities.
    4. Running the PromptDNA wizard to generate your first prompts.
    5. Kicking off the first measurement cycle.

If you are on the free trial, you can only have 1 site. To add more, upgrade to a paid plan.
