The 4-step flow: seed, enrich, cities & scope, review.

    PromptDNA wizard

PromptDNA is the guided flow that generates a high-quality, brand-relevant prompt set for your site. Instead of writing prompts one-by-one, you describe your business once and PromptDNA produces a curated list aligned with how real users phrase questions to AI assistants.

You can launch it from Settings β†’ Sites β†’ [your site] β†’ PromptDNA, or from the onboarding wizard when adding a new site.

    Step 1 β€” Seed

Enter the basics PromptDNA needs to understand your business:

    • Business type β€” local business (serves a defined physical area, e.g. clinic, store, restaurant) vs broader online/national business. This affects how cities and intent are weighted.
    • What you offer β€” a short description of products, services or specialties.

    Step 2 β€” Enrich

PromptDNA proposes a richer brand and offering profile based on your seed:

    • Suggested service categories and specialties.
    • Suggested audience segments (e.g. families, B2B, tourists).
    • Suggested intent buckets (informational, commercial, navigational).

Review, accept, edit or remove suggestions. The cleaner this step, the more relevant the generated prompts.

    Step 3 β€” Cities & scope

Define where the prompts should be measured:

    • Pick one or more target cities. The generator multiplies each prompt template by each selected city to build a per-city prompt set (see Multi-city prompts).
    • Set the geographic scope β€” local (city-level), regional, or national.
    • For local businesses, the city list also controls which cities are queried in the AI providers' location context.

    Step 4 β€” Review

The wizard generates the final prompt set. For each prompt you can:

    • Approve β€” adds it to your active prompt list.
    • Edit β€” tweak wording before approval.
    • Remove β€” drop prompts that don't fit.

After approval, prompts enter the regular measurement cycle and start collecting LLM responses on the next scheduled run.

    When to re-run PromptDNA

    • You added new services, specialties or cities.
    • You expanded into a new country or language.
    • You significantly changed your audience or positioning.

Re-running PromptDNA does not delete existing prompts β€” it proposes additions you can selectively approve.
