Change your password
GeoBubbles supports two sign-in methods, and the password flow depends on which one you use.
If you signed up with email + password
Forgot your password
- Go to the login page.
- Click Forgot password?
- Enter your account email and submit.
- Check your inbox for a reset link from
no-reply@geobubbles.com(also check spam). - Click the link and choose a new password (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers recommended).
The reset link is valid for 1 hour. Request a new one if it expires.
Change a password you still know
Use the Forgot password? flow above — we do not currently expose an in-app "change password" form. The reset link works the same whether or not you remember the old password.
If you signed up with Google
Your GeoBubbles account does not have its own password — authentication is delegated to Google. To change how you sign in:
- Change your Google password — manage it from your Google account security page.
- Enable 2-step verification — strongly recommended; configure it in the same Google security page.
- Switch to email + password — sign out, click Forgot password? on the login page, and set a password for the same email. Both methods will then work.
Security tips
- Use a unique password — do not reuse a password from another service.
- Enable 2-step verification on your Google account if you sign in with Google.
- If you suspect your account is compromised, reset the password immediately and contact support to review recent activity.
GeoBubbles never asks for your password by email or chat. Always reset through the official login page.
