How long is data retained?

Retention depends on the data type and your plan tier.

Visibility data (LLM mentions, citations, prompt runs, SERP snapshots)

Retained for the full lifetime of your subscription. As long as your site is active in GeoBubbles, every historical run remains queryable in the dashboard, reports, and exports. We never silently prune visibility history.

Search Console history

Historical GSC data is backfilled and retained based on your plan:

• Starter / entry tier — up to 3 years of GSC history.
• Growth tier — up to 4 years.
• Pro / top tier — up to 5 years.

This applies both to backfill on connection and to the rolling window kept afterwards.

Deleted sites and prompts

We never hard-delete. When you remove a prompt or a site, we apply a soft delete (marking it archived) so the historical data remains intact and can be restored or exported on request. Hard deletion only happens if you explicitly request full account deletion under GDPR.

Account closure

If you close your account, visibility data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate, then permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time via our contact form.

Exports

You can export prompts, runs, and metrics at any point from the relevant pages. Exports are not subject to retention limits — once downloaded, the file is yours to keep.
