Invoices and Payment

GeoBubbles handles billing through Stripe. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.

Viewing and downloading invoices

1. Go to Settings → Billing
2. Click Manage Billing — this opens the Stripe Customer Portal
3. In the portal, select Invoices to view your full billing history
4. Download any invoice as a PDF

Invoices include your plan charge, any add-ons, and applicable VAT based on your billing country.

Updating payment methods

1. Go to Settings → Billing
2. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal
3. Select Payment Methods to add, remove, or change your default card

You can keep multiple payment methods on file. The default method is charged automatically at each billing cycle.

Billing currency

You can choose between EUR and USD when subscribing. All future charges for that subscription use the selected currency. Add-on prices adjust automatically based on your chosen currency.

Failed payments

If a payment fails:

1. Stripe retries automatically over the next few days.
2. You receive an email notification with a link to update your payment method.
3. If payment continues to fail, your subscription enters a grace period. During this time, your data remains accessible but new measurements may be paused.
4. After the grace period expires, the subscription is canceled and you revert to free-trial limits.

Tax and VAT

• EU customers: VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country.
• Swiss customers: VAT is applied where required by law.
• Business customers: If you provide a valid VAT ID during checkout, reverse charge may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

All tax details appear on your invoice.
