Filter prompts by ToFu, MoFu, BoFu, and Post stage.

    Stages (Journey) analytics

Not every prompt has the same intent. Someone asking "what is an optician?" is in a very different mental state than someone asking "book an eye test in Aarhus tomorrow" β€” or someone asking "how do I clean my new progressive lenses?" a week after buying. The Stages view (also called Journey Analytics) groups your prompts by where they sit in the customer journey so you can see strengths and weaknesses per stage.

Open it from the left sidebar β†’ Stages.

    The four stages

GeoBubbles uses the standard funnel model β€” ToFu, MoFu, BoFu, Post β€” extended with a post-purchase stage that most tools ignore but matters a lot for AI visibility (retention, repeat questions, loyalty content).

    StageFull nameIntentExample prompt
ToFuTop of Funnel (Awareness)The user is learning about a problem or category."why do my eyes get tired in front of a screen?"
MoFuMiddle of Funnel (Consideration)The user is comparing options, brands, or methods."best progressive lenses for computer work"
BoFuBottom of Funnel (Decision)The user is ready to act β€” buy, book, visit."optician open today near NΓΈrreport station"
PostPost-purchase (Retention)The user already bought and now needs support, care, or follow-up info."how to clean Zeiss progressive lenses"

Each prompt in your account is classified into exactly one stage during prompt generation, based on the DNA wizard's intent scoring. You can override the stage manually in the prompt detail view.

    What you see

The Stages page is essentially the Cockpit table, but with a stage filter bar pinned at the top and per-stage KPI cards above it:

    • Per-stage KPI cards β€” VS / SOV / TMR / AIS calculated only over prompts in that stage.
    • Stage filter bar β€” click a stage to filter the table to its prompts; click again to clear.
    • Prompt table β€” sortable by KPI, with the usual quality flag (Healthy / Watch / Low / Excluded).
    • Quality classifier badge β€” also visible per row, so you can quickly drop low-quality prompts from the analysis.

    Why it matters

    A typical pattern we see:

    • Strong BoFu, weak ToFu β€” the brand is well-known to people already shopping, but invisible at the top of the funnel. Fix by adding educational content and prompts.
    • Strong ToFu, weak BoFu β€” lots of category visibility but conversion-intent prompts (e.g. "book", "near me", "price") underperform. Fix with GBP optimisation, local landing pages, transactional schema.
    • Weak Post β€” customers can't find help articles, care guides, or warranty info via AI. Competitors capture the relationship instead. Fix with FAQ pages, support documentation, and how-to content.
    • Even across stages β€” healthiest profile. Maintain.

The Stages view exists so you can spot these patterns at a glance instead of eyeballing a flat prompt list.

    Cross-references

    • The Insights β†’ AI Insights panel automatically flags large stage imbalances in its narrative.
    • The Visibility Gaps report can be filtered by stage to focus on, e.g., BoFu prompts where competitors appear and you don't.
    • The Reporting module includes a Stages section in automated emails when stage data is available.

    Notes

    • A prompt's stage can change over time if you re-classify it in the Prompt DNA review step. There is no history of past stage assignments β€” the current stage applies to all past and future measurements of that prompt.
    • Stages are independent of tags. You can filter by both at once (e.g. BoFu + branded).
